As a Colerain grad/fan this is really great news! Conner's dad is former Buckeye, Joe Smith.
I hope some of you guys got to see Conner in the state title game against McKinley this year because he put on a show.

Good point H&G...Connor's dad played for Coach Bruce.
Bill Greene calls Connor the best OL he saw in Ohio this year not named Alex Boone.

So, I am guessing he is projected at OL then? With the solid OL class in Ohio next year, if he can play DT I would liek to see him there.

Now is he offered as an OT or an OG?

msj, usually they just recruit at an area, then once they come in they'll see what position on the line. Tressel seems to like guys who are interchangeable.

I understand this... maybe I didn't phrase my question correctly... ok no I didn't. Does the kid play OG or OT right now? What does he want to play? To people who have seen him do you think he projects as an OT or an OG?
I'm having a hard time figuring it out, myself as I'm just basing it off of his measurables. He's either a decent sized OT or a large OG...
