Yeah, you can overpay for ebay tickets sometimes (it is still better than those online ticket houses). I know people that like to give tickets to a game to people as gifts. It's a little tougher to say to your father, buddy, etc. "Hey, I got two tickets to the game, and I'm taking you! We simply need to find a scalper before hand and hope I get a good deal."
Anywho, I am planning on paying the $1000 booster club fee next year and get season tickets. Anybody know how good the first year tickets are? Does more money get you better tickets? I won't do $5000, but $2000 is reasonable.

More money = better seats. There is a pecking order based on points. Points are calculated 3%* Current Gift + 2% * Past gifts = total points.

Hmm, but after reading that...if I give $2500 I am seated before people giving $1000. Thanks for the info.
Still wondering where a typical $1000 gift gets seats. Yet thanks for the information.
Also, season tickets look like a great deal over individual tickets. Does this mean you get a season pass that has all the tickets on one ticket? I would more than likely give a few tickets out to people, and it's much easier if there are tickets for each game. Do they do like the students and have all the games on one ticket for a season pass? Makes sense, but I want to make sure.
BTW...I knew about the deadline. I was thinking about 2006. Thanks though.
I must say after reading through the tax deductions, benefits, etc. Biggie was right! "Mo money, mo problems!"

I purchased tickets on eBay for two seperate games from different sellers and there was absolutely no problems and not much over face value. However, the seller also insured them and Fedexed them to me. Just my two cents. But if I am coming from a ways away I would much rather have tix in hand before I got to the game. Besides I love watching the team come out and the Ramp Entrance from the band.

I have been lucky enough to be able to go to the last two OSU vs Meatchicken games at home. Now I am hearing that If you buy tickets, you must show a student ID, or an Alum ID. Can anyone shed some light on this matter? I wouldn't want to get tickets, and find out I can't get into a game at the gate......

yeah I paid 650 dollars for TWO for the Texas game this year. For sure I bought them the very first day. Does anyone know when you actually get your tickets?

Typical Scarlet & Gray level seats ($1,000 gift) are north endzone. 3A, 5A, 2A, 4A
President's Club ($2,500) gets you Back of Endzone to Ten yard line. 8A to 16A.
There is still a seniority ranking based on # of years you have been donating to the Buckeye Club.
My Scarlet & Gray seats are 3A row 25, good seats but not great.
Also, you recieve individual tickets for each game, not a pass. You can give or sell tickets as you wish.

I know for student tickets they sometimes check your ID. I think we got checked all but one game last year. That being said. For $20.00 per ticket, students can change their tickets to regular admission and then no ID is necessary. They also let me take whomever I wanted in on my spouses ticket without changing it to regular admission.
