Just so I am clear...because my friend who has never seen a home game understands. If we show up to the schott at say 930/1000 Saturday morning. We could get two or three together? If not, we could get them from a scalper close to kick off? Correct? I want him to see this so it reassures him into going so I dont waste a day off from work

Sure...you might. Or the line might already be long enough that only singles are available by the time you get to the window, or you could get 'shut out' completely. I'd show up earlier than that (just my opinion)
Students are back. It's the Big Ten opener. We're 3 - 0, just coming off a nice OOC win on the left coast. The weather is supposed to be sunny and warm. So showing up at 9:30 or 10:00 seems a bit late to me if you're looking to score tickets together at face value from the Schott. Still possible...I've seen it...but if I were taking off work to go to the game, then I'd definitely show up earlier to 'help the cause' so to speak and give us a better chance: 7:30 or so, but that's just me.
If you don't get them from the Ticket Office, then there will be plenty of scalpers with tickets together. Again though, at what price? That's a variable factor. If you wait closer to kick-off, the prices do tend to come down, but then the seat selection thins out too.
The biggest point of this thread is show that Joe Shmo (you, me, anyone off the street) can usually score tickets to just about any game at face value on Game Day at the Schott Public Ticket Sales Window...and sometimes get great seats in A Deck, on the 50 yard line, etc. without paying a fortune to scalpers or having to know a Corporate President to get them.
It usually involves getting up early and standing in line for a few hours or more depending on the situation. Or if you do get shut out, knowing what to do next. It's not guarenteed, but if you follow some of the great advice given by those who have had success getting tickets to a game they wanted to see, then your chances are pretty good to get them yourself, and at face value or a very reasonable price.
Good Luck!
Go Bucks!!!

It's the Southeast corner. The line forms along the South side of the building (which faces Lane). I would also call the ticket office right NOW and see if they have any pairs together, and possibly save yourself some time.

As of 11:40 a.m. today...the Ticket Office still had a limited # of tickets together in 29AA for tomorrow's Game vs. Northwestern.

I wonder why the website does not show these? As of yesterday around 3:30 you could only get single tickets.

I believe tickets get reseased in groups when they are returned for various places. Always best to call every so often to check for released tickets. For what I understand, the Tickets sold on Gameday at the ticket office is a different story altogether.

Couple of quick notes:
I didn't need tix this week, so I don't have a lot of info on tickets for the NW game, but what I saw was about 75 or so people standing in line shortly before 9 a.m.
Contrary to what I believed as far as the Ticket Window opening time went (and to what was stated by an Office Employee Wed.), at shortly after 9:00 a.m. both the Student Will Call Window and the Public Ticket Sales Window opened.
I don't know how many (but it looked like the window sold tickets for at least a couple of hours) or what quality the seats were, but I believe people were at least buying seats together Saturday morning (even though they were sold on line Thurs. & then again Fri. and ran out of anything but singles twice).
Anyone with personal experience last Sat. who wants to give more details would be much appreciated.

I didn't pick up my tickets until 11:45 and there was still a line to buy tickets. I guess I should have asked the people leaving the line what they were getting but I was too hungry and needed to get back to my tailgate to start cooking.

I picked up my tix around 12:15 and they were still selling tickets to walkups. Sorry, but I don't know what kind of seats. There were only about a dozen people in line to buy tix then; rest were there for will call. They combined the lines until a little after 12, then the moved the will calls inside. Earlier only student will call was inside.
