Single Game Football Tickets Tips

Do you think this will be a good option for the penn state game? My dad and I are travelling up there from Dallas. Don't really wanna spend the $200+/ticket but will if we have to. Do alot of people have extra tickets they are trying to get rid of around the stadium? not scalpers.

If OSU beats Texas, PSU tickets will be sky high (probably over $200). An OSU loss would bring prices back to a reasonable level (closer to $100+).

what kind of seats have you got when going to the ticket window at 6am? i know i saw on the 1st page that you get whatever is available but i was wondering what you have received? i might have to start doing what you do, but that makes for a long long day..haha!! thank you for sharing that information!! it will be a great help to all buckeye fans

also...can you get a pair or do you only get 1 ticket? i guess what im asking is if i stand in line while the old lady sleeps will i be able to get 2 w/o her being there?

And I believe they usually had a sign up that stated "Limit 4 tickets per person", although for Texas they only sold 2 per person, then if you wanted to get back in line and go through again you were able to buy more...and shockingly, as long as the line was I know of several people who made it through twice and got more than 2 each.

I got great seats in B Deck the morning of a game last year off of hangonsloopy.com. I pulled them up about 8am, but the update history on the website showed that the "window" had opened at 5am.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tix to PSU or The Game this year.
Last year's game was my first ever, hope to make it to #2 this year!

Where do you guys recommend a place to park in order to get in line at the Schott? I assume that there is no way to park at the Schott at any time on game day without a permit.

Just park where you normally would to tailgate and hike over. Parking at the Alumni house/Fawcett Center/WHAC always work for me.

I think I might give it a try. I got lower bowl seats for the game already but I know some people who would love to go as well

Let us know how it went at the Schott, I have tickets for this weekend but none for the rest of the games. It's kind of weird there was no public sale this year at all.

for what it's worth, i asked the person at the schott today (picking up my student tix) if they were having a will-call sale this weekend. She said the only time they really do it is when the opposing schools return tickets, and NIU hadn't returned any...so it was unlikely they would have any for sale when they opened @ 9.

btw - She also didn't anticipate many schools returning tickets this year...but then again if people got Texas tickets last year via this method, who knows..

that's why i qualified it with "fwiw"...as I wasn't too sure myself. But it came directly from a person working at the schott ticket window. I'm not terribly worried either way, as i scored my pair of season tickets...just figured i'd pass it along. I'd be curious if anyone scores any for this weekend via this method though..
