Just got home... no bracelets but all of the scalpers thought they'd open the window later(12-2pm) or release more online. Keep an eye out they seem to know what was up. I wanted to watch gameday and get prepped to go tailgate and for this freaking game to start....LET'S GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 2 cents on the USC Game-Day ticket window:
Went there with my brother, cousin & a friend...got there about 6:15 a.m. and we were 35th or so in line. There were signs posted on the doors of the Schott ticket office, "Sold Out. No Tickets Will Be Released" I told my brother that the only other two times I'd been in line where that sign was posted (both for the last 2 home M!ch!g!n games) zero tickets were sold. We still waited for about 2-1/2 hours on the off chance, but were told by a woman inside the office the same info (no tickets will be sold, only Will Call & Student Tix being picked up), so the line busted up. I passed the Schott several times throughout the day, there were a few people waiting / hoping each time, but to my knowlege no tickets were sold for the USC game week of, or day of the game. I even called ticket master throughout the day and used both the automated system and a live person and was told each time that no more tickets were available. So in my experience (7 years of doing this) a sign stating "Sold Out. No Tickets Will Be Released." = no tickets sold . (Michigan '06, Michigan '08, and USC '09).....next big test, UM south 2010? ![]() |

NateG thanks for the updates and everything. And all the BP'ers on here for helping get tickets. I just keep randomly checking ticketmaster sometime after 12pm for the osu/usc tickets and scored 4 15aa seatings. I guess I was really lucky and I know I probaly won't ever get AA seatings every again. Thanks again.

I am trying to get tickets to the Ohio State vs Illinois game Sat the 26th. I haven't lucked out yet through connections, and was wondering what the chances are that their will be decent prices at or around the stadium on game day. I have read the tips about the window selling tickets and may try that option. Also, does anyone know what the probability is of there being decently priced tickets being scalped around the stadium, like for $65-$80 dollars? My friend is coming in from Arizona and we are nervous about showing up on game day and trying to get tickets b/c we don't want to have him paying for a flight here and then not get to go to the game, which is the main reason he is coming. Any advice would help, thanks.

My options for you in order of how I would do it in your situation:
1. Craigslist for cheap seats all week whenever you can(work deals... people will go down in price) 2. Ticketmaster all week whenever you can(face guarantee plus service fees) 3. Window on sat morn prob 4-5AM to be safe(face guarantee plus service fees) 4. Scalp(and according to how ballsy you are you can scalp until kick and get good priced tickets) 5. Find a bar on campus to watch it and cheer with fellow fans... more cheering/yelling together than at a private home. I'll try to search from time to time but expect to stay home for this one. So I'll update an Illinois tix thread for you. Good Luck Edit- Sunday morn tix on Ticketmaster...not the best but pairs being sold 137.50 for pairs Last edited by NateG; 09-20-2009 at 08:48 AM. |

Craigslist has some good deals for folks wanting to go see Illinois on Sat. And this is Tues. I am sure tix will keep getting cheaper.

Glad to hear it. I stand corrected...but in a good way.
I guess even in the most unlikely scenerios, it has been proven that tickets (in however limited quantities it may be) are almost always available. P.S. ![]() |

Yeah, the only negative to that was they said they had like 30 or so tickets so really only the first 15 ppl would get their tickets. So moments after getting our bracelets people who were near the back of the line came forward and were trying to bribe us to get them tickets as well. Naturally i am a nice guy and it was hard to say no to them, but i did not want to mess with anyone in front of those people.

I ran a search and couldn't find anything on this, but does anyone know how you request away game alumni tickets? I'm looking at doing an away game next season and just wondered what the process is and how far out you have to do it. I'd appreciate any help!

Looks like alumni tix for away games are no longer available for this football season.
Ohio State Alumni: APPLYING FOR AWAY-GAME BUCKEYE BASHES If your alumni dues are paid, you should be receiving the alumni mag. I see advertisements in there all the time for away game buckeye bashes and tickets. |

Booth at the Shoe
A few months ago I read a blurb from a Columbus native about a ticket booth at the stadium. The writer said that the university opens up "extra" tickets the day of the game. If you have any first hand experience with this I'd love some detailed info on when it opens, where it is at, ect. Feel free to PM me. This forum is fantastic! Go bucks!

If you go to Ohio Stadium between 6:00 and 6:30am on game days, there usually are a couple of hundred tickets left. Ask any of the security people to be directed to the offices of Mr B Rubble.
