Hey guys, Ive been following this thread for a while hoping to use it. And this weekend I'm going to get to make the trip from Indiana State. I was wondering if for a smaller opponent like Bowling Green if it would actually be cheaper to scalp tickets. And also how much tickets will probablly be scalped for this weekend. Thanks for any help.

They aren't posted on the website, but if you call the ticket office they still have "scattered singles" available, and you can order them over the phone.

You will find pairs of tix at face on Saturday prior to kickoff. I guarantee it.

It doesn't seem to help your chances in getting better seats by being closer to the window when it opens. Am I correct? I'm just trying to determine what time to get there and merely being able to get some side-by-side is what I want.

I'm heading to Columbus tomorrow morning and I was wondering if you guys thought it would be cheaper to buy from the line or to scalp? How much would scalped tix probablly be. Also what is the chances that there will be tickets available the morning of the scUM game?

1.) The closer you are to the window / earlier you get there, the better chance you have to get better seats...not all tickets are turned in & logged into the computer at the same time, so there are situations where people in the middle of the line (and even further back) have gotten good seats that all of a sudden 'become available'. But typically, the closer to the front, the better.
2.) Yes, you can bring chairs to sit in line, and many do.
3.) You never know whether seats / tickets from the General Public Tickets Office will be 'better' or cheaper (though usually not) than from people scalping. Weather, opponant, seat location, etc. all play a part in how many tickets are "floating around" and available, and what the going price are for the tix.
We have had luck getting decent seats for face value or very near 'face' from people just wanting to sell "extras" and not turn a big profit, but those people aren't hanging out on every streat corner and you'll find more of those situations when the weather is bad (tomorrow's supposed to end up being pretty nice). And usually the cheaper seats are for single tickets or two together in a not so great location. So it really depends. I don't think scalpers are going to make a fortune against BG, but they'll still get people to pay well above face value for 2 or 4 good seats together. And we've bought 2 & 4 great seats togetherfrom the ticket office for face value several times.
4.) scUM tickets??? That's the 10,000 dollar question...and we'll just have to wait and see. If we are still undefeated (and even possibly scUM for that matter) then I've got to think the chances will be extremely thin, but I'll still give it a shot.
