Ebay scam?

I'm not gullible, but I also really want to go to this game. Tell me your guys thoughts about the following...this is an email train that I started after viewing an auction on ebay. Start at the bottom. Thoughts? I shouldn't go forward with this, should I?

That's a scam. eBay doesn't contact you for anything. Hopefully you didn't give him your name and address.

It looks pretty shady to me. I would never buy anything that the individual himself does not have on hand. Secondly, you can't negotiate a price outside of ebay and then run the transaction through them, that's not how the system works. This is definately a Buyer Beware situation. I would not send them anything, especially not money or personal information.

Agreed with the above. Personally, anytime I see the $ after the amount (700$). I go to the next auction.
