Ebay and Craigslist tickets slowly beginning to drop...

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up!! Prices are starting to come down a touch in the last few days.

There is talk that people will beable to get tix for around 4-500 on gameday.

THE ONLY way you're getting in for that price or better is if they have tickets at the window in NOLA. They have about 200 tickets last year in AZ at the window the day of the game. Otherwise, you're gonna pay at least $700. I see a lot of lower bowl tickets in the endzones still going for $1200 each.

The four seats next to us were empty last year. It's sad, ticket brokers buy up all these great seats and not all the seats get filled which is very much a lose/lose situation.

I thought scalping was a big "NO-NO" in New Orleans, or am I misinformed?

I believe you are correct. When I went to the Sugar Bowl in 1999 against Texas A & M, I had 4 extra tickets and was told to sell them for face value or less by New Orleans Police.

Now that is 8 years ago, so it could have changed and you know people will break the law for the big $$$ they can make off the tickets.

Scalpers are buying tickets from students for anywhere from 500-900 coming out of the Schott. A student I know sold his for 900 today, but then I have heard scalpers getting them for as low as 500. As you can you see prices are dropping. 750/ticket for a pair in 600 level and when I they were first announced to go to the game, they were 1000/ticket in the 600 level.

Scalping is a NO-NO....that is why they are dropping. The scalpers want to get rid of them...

In other words, if you wait until you get down there you can either get a really good deal or a whole lotta nothing.

But I've got my ticket already... and I'm soooo excited!

I know a person who sold a pair to a ticket broker for $1,300 for the pair in section 642 (45 yard line... upper deck). Those tickets were going for $2,500 for the pair on stubhub a couple weeks ago... ticket prices have def. come down...

Due to the LSU home game factor I doubt tickets will drop below $500 per ticket...
