Maybe they'll just hope they die off and not have to worry about them.

If you've ordered something before through hangonsloopy.com, you should be able to do it now - I did mine without having received anything in the mail.

The Alumni Assoc. told me I had to wait until I recieved my application letter in the mail, but I called the ticket office anyway.
I had an OSU ticket account, but not my "Alumni Customer Account #" or PIN. But the girl at the ticket office looked my account up & gave me the info I needed to log in and apply on-line. So I assume I'm in the Lottery...now the wait.

Anyone that doesn't like the restriction of not being able to bring your cigar-box guitar into the stadium.

Ohio State changes policy for alumni football tickets
Friday, May 02, 2008 Doug Lesmerises
Plain Dealer Reporter
Columbus- Some Ohio State fans are going to be mad.
"Whatever the ticket office does causes hard feelings," Leslie Croyle of Bay Village, whose husband graduated from Ohio State 36 years ago, said Thursday. "Unless everybody gets 50-yard line tickets, somebody is upset."
The Ohio State Alumni Association is prepared for that after adjusting its distribution of single-game alumni tickets to accommodate more alumni.

New alumni ticket process sucks balls
Last year there was a lot of whining in the alumni magazine by more recent grads about how "unfair" the ticket process was (because they didn't like the game they got). Well, unfortunately, Archie listened to them.
I got this year's application. There's no pre-assigned game. All members who apply will go into a random lottery.I may not even get a game, and if I do I won't know which one until August - good luck finding a hotel in Columbus by then.
Great fucking move, Archie. I'll lay anything they'll get MORE complaints now than last year.
Now if you'll excuse me I need to go make reservations for every home game.

You do make a couple valid points. The Alumni letter says that "the majority of their tickects will be for the Youngstown State and Ohio University games"; therefore, the "lottery winners" still won't like the game that they got. In addition to a hotel, if you need to fly into Columbus, (the way airline prices are going), good luck finding reasonable airfare by then too.
