2009 Tickets

I know this is way early. After attending the Troy St. game my little brother and I are already to come back next year. When do single tickets to the general public go on sale? I would like to sit in section A again, but closer to midfield. Anyone know of any home conference games where we can witness the true atmosphere of Ohio Stadium? Not that this weekend wasn't great, I had a blast and want to come back asap! Kinda makes me wish I could afford to go to school there or live in Columbus so I didn't have to drive so far (9 hours)!

Not usually until closer to the game.

Minnesota comes to town again next year on October 24. Iowa is November 14th. I'd go to one of those 2, becasue they're late in the season and it's perfect football weather. It's also easier for you to get tickets.

Wisky is October 10th but the tickets may be harder to find for that one.

I've had a lot of luck waiting until the week of the game, and calling the ticket office. Usually tickets are released game week for a lot of the lesser non-conference games, going on sale at face Thursday or Friday before the game. For the Big 10 it's a lot tougher, but I recall tickets being released this way for the 2007 Illinois game. Last year these last minute pairs and singles were released on hangonsloopy.com, but this year it's been exclusively on Ticketmaster. I think every home game we have played thus far, has had tickets available on Ticketmaster. If you're really feeling adventurous though, Ticketmaster will be selling Penn State, Purdue, AND Michigan on September 29th at 10:00 AM. As for getting them way in advance, that's harder. It's doable, but only through a ticket broker, or on Ebay. You'll get your tickets, and have more time to plan, but you pay a big premium for the convenience.
