Ticket Idea for next year...
Okay, so I have this plan that looks something like this. I've got about 4 or 5 friends that don't go to the football games. I have tossed around the idea with them of having them purchase season tickets plus USC, and then to be reimbursed by me upon payment, (And I'd pay them like 20 bucks each just for some incentive because none of them really know that they could get way more for them.)
So I would buy myself tickets, and then about 3 extra sets. Then, I would probably take my girlfriend to some games, and sell the other two to try and make some cash. I know last year, students were dealing tickets via facebook for games for well over 100 bucks to other poor college kids. I imagine I can get some pretty decent cash for USC alone.
Anyone have any input on a better idea? If anyone is interested in any tickets, they should let me know.

Good idea, I've sold other's peoples tickets because they couldn't go and made some cash. But you won't get a TON of money, but you'll get your money back and then some.

i am probably doing this actually....I'm buying a girl I work with and her one friend's tickets and using the USC one's and selling the rest of the season for probably 300 a ticket for the season

They really don't care. The AD is well aware that ticket scalping occurs - if the university didn't want it to happen, they'd make entrance policies stricter.

They added the "upgrade" to full price tickets a couple of years ago so students/faculty can sell/give them to anyone without the needed i.d.

If you really wanted to make a bundle, you'd spend the extra to upgrade the tickets, then sell them to the highest bidder.

Never mind, I just read the thing on hangonsloopy.com.
I am just going to access all of my friends emails (which they won't have a problem with since I'm paying em each 20 bucks) and then charge all sets of tickets I buy to my credit card.
Should work out fine I think. Hopefully the delay in announcement by the University will mean less traffic tomorrow...Eh, probably not.

just tried to access the site and there was about an hour delay right now, good luck accessing it multiple times tomorrow once the tickets go on sale

I predict USC tickets will be sold out by noon

just checked, your session times out after I don't know how long but staying logged in all night is not an option apparently, getting some USC tickets tomorrow is going to be a bitch

for your purposes though, the USC game is going to be the only one where time is really going to be an issue, the season ticket packages probably won't sell out right away so you should have at least a few days for those

yes, I am going to experiment and try and get a more accurate number but one hour is way longer than it lets you stay logged in

then again, I left it idle so maybe you can stay logged in if you click on some links periodically

also, my password for tickets is different from last year for some reason (I think probably because they switched over to ticketmaster for the first time) so you will probably want to double check all your passwords and logins just to make sure... also, your osu email account and password are not enough to purchase tickets, you need to create an account with ticketmaster and you should probably try to take care of that tonight rather than tomorrow morning
