So, I was reading through the Sunday paper when I stumbled upon this little gem.

"Friday, June 27th 6p.m. at Mt. Carmel Community Center"

"Join us for an evening with special guest speaker, Urban Meyer, Head Football Coach of the Florida Gators Football team"

"Celebrating the 25th anniversary of St. John High School winning the 1983 Class A State Baseball Championship"

- well,

He's from my hometown, and I'm seriously tempted to buy a ticket. If anything I can at least meet the man and encourage him to fill the head coaching positiont when Tressel decides to throw in the towel.

Perhaps if he accidentally has a bit much of the bubbly I can get some insider info on the game plans.. ya know

Meyer is the most arrogant coach in college football after Weis. I'm beginning to really dislike this guy. It's sickening how much he pimps himself and his players to the media.

I think Vince Young (hell, even Tommy Frasier) would dispute that. Sure, Timmy is good, but I mean...his numbers are largely inflated due to ~~abusive, obsessive overplaying by Meyer~~ ~~a lack of competent teammates or offensive coaching to spread the ball around~~ an offensive that lacks a true running back. Timmy has never put his team on his back the way VY did in the Rose Bowls. Until he can single handedly dominate another team, he's not even in VY's class.
