I hate ND because for years and years thru the 60s and 70s, if you were transplanted out of the great state of Ohio, the only college football game that was ALLways televised and on the radio was ND ! ND games were everywhere........You had to watch their game just to catch the scores of the Buckeyes.

There are plenty of good reasons to hate Notre Dame, but in my opinion they aren't worth the effort. If they ever field a decent football team again, then maybe I will hate them because of the prima donnas that we all know they are.

You gotta love this, a Notre Dame Sucks website: http://www.angelfire.com/sports/rock...notredame.html
They sum up the reasons why you should hate ND pretty good:

Eleven National Championships and the Fighting Irish still SUCK! Yes, Notre Dame does have a huge following of loyal fans, but their "Holier than Thou" attitude and the thought that they're "God's Gift to Earth" also [censored]es off alot of their non-fans. Furthermore, Notre Dame refuses to join a conference. They want to stay an independent so they can pick and choose who they want to play. They always pick a schedule that is one of the easiest in the nation year after year after year.

With numerous ND jokes so you can laugh at them too (examples):
Q: What's the difference between a dead skunk in the road and a dead Fighting Irish fan in the road?
A: The dead skunk has skid marks before it.
Q: How is a Notre Dame Cheerleader like a bowling ball?
A: They get fingered, thrown in the gutter, and they come back for more.
Q: Why wasn't Jesus born in South Bend?
A: They couldn't find Three Wise Men or a Virgin.
Q: Why did O.J. hide in South Bend after killing his wife?
A: No one would ever think of looking for a football player there.
A fellow walks into a bar, orders a drink, and asks the bartender if he'd like to hear a good Notre Dame joke. "Listen buddy," he growled. "See those 2 big guys on your left? They were both linemen on the Notre Dame football team. And that huge fellow on your right was a world-class wrestler at Notre Dame. That guy in the corner was Notre Dame's all-time champion weight lifter. And I lettered in 3 sports at Notre Dame. Now, are you absolutely positive you want to go ahead and tell your joke here?" "Nah, guess not," the man replied. "I wouldn't want to have to explain it 5 times."

I hate ND with a passion.
First off, you can ask any of their fans why they like Notre Dame and they never have a decent answer. NEVER. AND, I could care less what religion you are.
Secondly, their fans are clinging to their glorious tradition for life and it annoys the [censored] out of me. If my team wasn't competitive for over a decade, I guess I would too...but it is ALL they talk about when I argue with them.
Thirdly, Brady Quinn worked for me in Columbus and the kid is the textbook definition of a douchebag. He's arrogant, worthless & said more than once, "I don't make enough to do anything while I'm here". Not to mention he had some muscular "assistance". If you want to meet a kid who thinks he's better than the rest of the world - Brady Quinn is your man. His friends will tell you he's been known to wear makeup as well & I can testify to that.
Fourthly, four kids in my graduating class went to ND and one of them I would consider mildly intelligent. They gloated (collectively) about getting in for over a month solid and wouldn't shut up. It probably doesn't help that I went to a Catholic school, but by the end of the school year.....EVERY ONE HATED THEM REGARDLESS.
Fifthly, every year is the Domer's year to get back in the fold!!! YEAH RIGHT. I've been hearing this trash for a decade now and they've sucked every season. Heaven forbid, if they go 3 and 0, every sports publication on the face of the earth will have them on the front page saying something ridiculous like, "here come the Irish" or, "Notre Dame is back". HA.
Sixthly, show me an ND fan who won't make excuses for our romping them twice in a row in the mid 90's.
Seventhly, they're the Domers & that "holier than thou" b.s. is rivaled only by Duke's basketball fan base. Surprisingly enough, I know a large number of ND football fans who just so "happen" to like Duke basketball. Coincidence?...I think not.

Weird, considering ND is a Catholic school, and Duke is a Methodist school. I'm guessing it's not for religious reasons, that they tend to bandwagon together.
Still laughing about Brady Quinn.

Oh I know Duke is a methodist school...but it's the mentality of the programs I think. Although Duke actually wins games. For some reason though...they do bandwagon together.
