Anytime a big time recruit considers a transfer, I gotta plug the only real option for them.

Why? We don't offer kids money.. and the one kid who did get money got suspended for 2 games and the booster removed from the university affiliations.

So we don't do it...but it does happen. Exactly why we should not throw rocks at other programs when our image is such an easy target.

I think he'll go to a I-A...I am thinking a smaller school maybe, where he is guaranteed to play when he becomes eligible. The problem a lot of these guys have is that plans are made before they get there, and then they have to sit out a year besides. Clemson could be a possibility, but I'm thinking more along the lines of a South Florida or a Memphis.

Clemson is a good fit with Charlie Whitehurst coming back for his senior year...that gives Schaeffer one year to sit out and then step right in.
That offense is a good fit for an athletic QB ala Woody Dantzler...

you evidently didn't hear about Bollman this spring... suffice to say, he was disciplined...
