I understood Hart's frustration, and I even chuckled when he said that if Michigan won, he wouldn't want a rematch. That was a good line.

Let's not forget that he's still young. He played his ass off today, and he's the reason the game was as close as it was. He was awesome.

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if he hates his own defense right now.

'never' is probably a bit strong. They certainly spouted off too much under Cooper.

Under JT, his players lavish praise upon NW after blowing them out. If Hawk had made a statement like that about PSU's offense after last year's loss, Tressel would have been furious and acted on it.

Do you think Carr will confront Hart over his comments?

A Michigan fan trying to point to the past during a discussion of the present... never seen that one before. Hart made a stupid comment that you wouldn't hear out of a player who has spent 3 years under the wing of Jim Tressel.

Had the microphone been stuck, (or lowered), to Hart's face while on the field, I might give him a pass. But the way I saw the interview, this was in a press conference situation, after the fact. He had time to cool down, time to reflect. Sorry, he played a great game, I respect him as an athlete, but his comments reflect poorly on a school that likes to claim that they are above "the others." Yeah, some Buck players in the past have said things that haven't been backed up, but evidently the worm has turned. A coach with the deer in the headlights look, players talking too much, a record of one win and five losses. Correct my math, but isn't that half way to two and ten? I'll leave out the tie.

Too bad for Hart he has not been better coached in Tressel-speak.

IMO there was so much more pressure on UM than OSU today. Win or lose our program is at the top of the charts. UM is trying to make the case that they are back. At 11-0 they are for the most part. But they are now 2-9 in the last two games of the season the past 6 years. They needed THIS win to validate themselves and they didn't get it. They focused on THIS game all year and it seemed within their grasp. That is hard to take and Hart is doing some Miami-esqe straw-grasping.

They had every motivation in the world and couldn't pull it off.
