Yup. Maybe "confront" is a strong word for it, but Carr is big on having his guys deal with the media the right way, which in Carr's mind is as little and uncontroversially as possible. He certainly sets the example in that regard. Especially in the "as little as possible" department. Hart is actually one of the classiest, hardest-working football players you'll find, and one of the team leaders (guaranteed captain next year) so I don't envision a screaming session, but Carr will probably pull his running back aside, maybe in his office on Monday, and have a word with him regarding the virtues of the cliche. Especially with regards to the aforementioned leadership role.

I'm not trying to discount what you are saying, but if Carr was "big on having his guys deal with the media in the right way" the episode tonight would have never happened. I understand that there are a lot of emotions flowing after a game of this magnitude, but evidently there isn't the discipline that you think... know what I mean?

I hear ya, but Hart has never once had any kind of problem dealing with the media in the past. In fact he's considered one of the softer-spoken guys on the team. So I doubt any of the coaching staff has ever had to have a one-on-one with him. Michigan can in no way be considered a team that's got a mouth problem....surely nobody's suggesting there's a pattern.

Michael Hart said the outcome of a rematch would be different... I think he was right.
We'd kick their ass!!! /End Homer comments
That being said Michael Hart played his ass off. He is really damn good. UM players do need to learn the humble qualities that Tress preaches to the players. I swear I heard 6 different players mention humble (or some synonym tonight) while praising UM for playing so hard.
We had them broken at half... and let them back in the game. Damn you Tressel, I know I'm headed for a coronary.
But for now (after being at 2 different parties that were busted by cops) I must end this with a GO BUCKS!!!! I coaxed my dad into cashing in frequent flyer miles in the 4th quarter!

After the game I was very proud of Mike Hart's preformance, even more so than some scUM fans out there. The guy hadn't had more than 75 or less total yards against Ohio State in his first 2 years, and then he goes out and has an amazing preformance like tonights. However, he then goes and totally ruins it by running his damn mouth. I too lost a lot of respect for the guy, I was going to come on here and praise him for his preformance today, but I just can't do it anymore after the completley classless comments by him after the game, emotions or not, Hart proved he has no actual heart.

Look, I'm not gonna 100% agree with Hart here....nor am I gonna blast him for it, because there's still some truth in what he says. I'd fully expect OSU fans to pissed about it. But to say OSU would never, ever say dumb, classless things? There's some history to prove otherwise.

you want to talk classless acts from the past? the heisman pose from desmond coward? give me a break, thats as classless in victory as it gets!!

This one falls in very low on the things BKB gives a shit about category. Hart can say whatever he wants. Doesn't change his career oh-fer v. Ohio State.
