"This is our team, coach Carr's team. We're not worried about coach Rod right now. His team is next year. On the 2nd, this will be his program." -- Mike Hart, Michigan running back, on new coach Rich Rodriguez

Overheard: Michigan running back Mike Hart (2009)
"OK, the NFL thing didn't work out. What was the website you told me about where there might be a job that's just right for me?"

Hart prefers Capital over Rose Bowl
Posted: Wednesday January 02, 2008 06:56AM ET
Mike Hart's college career came to an end with a mixed day at the Capital One Bowl. He ran for 129 yards and scored two touchdowns but also lost two fumbles in the red zone, likely costing Michigan touchdowns. "I don't care about those fumbles," Hart said. "We won. Now, if we lost, I would have really cared about them. I'd rather be in this game than the Rose Bowl to tell you the truth," Hart said. "We played a great Florida team, the whole world was against us, we fought through adversity, showed great character, won a hard game."

You prefer the Capital One Bowl, huh? Sure you do Bikey, sure you do. Assclown until the end. Congrats on that 1-7 mark, nice work. Have fun on some team's IR next season.

"I waited my entire career just so I could fumble twice inside the five yard line on National TV.. that's how much I valued this bowl"

Hart just makes it too easy. I mean, you can't script those quotes. It takes a special lack of awareness and class that only he seems to possess. I have a lot of fun with him in my BP blog: That State Up North. Try to work in a Bikey reference in as many postings as possible.

Yeah, yesterday's victory was the best of both worlds. Everyone saw what a classless act Midget Mike is, we got a Big Ten victory against the SEC and it shut the mouths of the Gaytor nation, who crawled back into their swamp, making excuse after excuse as to why they lost to a slow Big Ten team that lost to Appy State.

How many running backs laugh after they fumble away a scoring opportunity....only Hart(less)
