I hope that video goes around the OSU lockeroom before the game this year...Ala the Brooks Bollinger "You build it, we own it" autograph.
Could anybody make a video of the 40 something times OSU "spanked" Iowa. I don't remember the exact year. But I do recall a year OSU was up on Iowa by at least 40 at halftime.

haha man I forgot how ugly that game was.......Tate did kick our ass and Iowa straight up out played us in every aspect. I sure how we return the favor this up coming season and pound the [censored] out of them. I'd have to go with Iowa/Penn St./Michigan is the teams that I really want to absolutly DRILL this year.
Iowa-for the stated reasons above
Penn St- They always take us serious, and I'm tired of hearing Joe Pa always wine about how close they come.
Michigan -Do I really need a reason?

That was 1995, when we were up 56-0 in the second quarter and led 56-7 at halftime.

Mili,
Wow, it was even worse than I thought it was. Coops' teams really put up some points in the mid 90s. I remember OSU was also up on Toledo 49-0 at halftime. Then there was the 70-0 and 72-0 beatings of Rice and Pitt. To bad most of those teams were lucky to put up 10 on Michigan.

Coop's teams always played a good first half but they were used to resting the second half. Cooper always scripted his first ten plays and they were usually good for two touchdowns. I never have figured that out. If Coop could draw up a complete game plan he would be unstoppable. If other coaches could figure out ten good plays they could get their own 14 points. I just can't figure out the magic of Cooper's first ten plays.

If I also remember correctly that year we went up in similar fashion against Purdue. We blocked something like 3-4 punts in the first half, I was at that game.

I believe Rice was 70-7. The Pitt game was funny, because I believe it was David Boston's freshman year (1996, maybe?). Ohio State was up by a million, or something, and they were in the process of taking out the second or third team players in favor of whatever scrubs Cooper could find. Boston, being a freshman, was at least third on the list of punt returners, and Cooper put him in to return a punt. The rest of the team was confused on who should be on the field, and Boston was one of eight Buckeyes on the field to return the punt. Boston returned it for a touchdown, anyway.
I also seem to remember that Ohio State didn't throw a single pass in the second half.

I doubt it. After last year, this game won't even be close. We've got better talent, we're bitter about last year's loss, and we're playing in the Shoe. Not to mention the fact that I believe Iowa is TERRIBLY overrated this year. CFN is the only college football preview I've seen that gives a semi-realistic prediction of how Iowa's season will end up (they project 9-2, with road losses against us and Purdue). I even think that's a little favorable, though. And as for that sissyboy dance that Tate did against us last year, I hope Hawk or Carpenter get to him early and often.

I just dont understand why everyone underplays the fact that they lost THEIR ENTIRE D-LINE.
The front 4 is the heart and soul of the D, and guess what: they have 0 experience at Iowa.
