Guys I konw everyone things USC is unbeatable but they showed in the first part of that game that they are still human.
They havent played against a defense of any caliber yet. None whatsoever.
The keys to beating them is controlling their O', Controlling the TOP, and taking advantages of the oppurtunities when they arise.
Oregon had two chances to score td's and they failed. They could of went up 21-0. Then if they could of worked the clock, it would of been a whole different ballgame. Instead they decide to [censored] themselves, not play defense and have the offense craw in a hole.
This weekend will be the real test for USC.

I agree, but the problem is, they dont face any good defenses all year. Unless we can sneak into the Rose

I'd love to see them match up against a good defense. The PAC 10 plays defense in the style of the WAC.

I think a small handful of teams have a -shot- who are on their schedule.
I'd like to see ND lose one more, so that I can fanatically root for them to beat USC. I think Weis has the best shot, from a coaching standpoint, of pulling this off. That's what it is going to take, a coach who has the ability to make his team take advantage of their opponents mistakes. Isn't that what the Pats have become infamous doing?
It will take one hell of a gameplan, and capitalization on each USC mistake, but I think the big tuna has the best chance.
Besides that, cal/ucla/asu all have a 'chance', but will they cash in on that chance? Oregon could of really made USC play some major catchup, but let their confidence slip away early.
As for me, I'm looking forward to Petey vs. Charlie. Just need ND to drop one game before then, so they won't jump us.

I think it's gonna be ASU.
It'll be a mad shootout; What puts ASU over USC? USC has no corners, ASU has Sam Keller and Hagan.

I can see ASU, ND, Cal, or even UCLA pulling the upset. One of them will.

Of the original two, I'd pick ND. I went to the ND/MSU game two Saturdays ago. Those ND kids can play offense, though the defense is suspect. Maybe with a good running/passing game, good coaching, and home field, ND could win a shoot out. USC is like scUM in my book, I'll be happy no matter who beats them!
CKN-FYI-the Big Tuna is in the Big D.
