With the top 3 well distant from number 4, and 1 and 2 swappable in any given week. If Bush had his performance on a down week for VY then he'd get my 1st place vote. As it is I can't take Young of the top when he almost single-handledly chokes off the Buffs.

Due to all the great games Saturday, VY's 25 of 29 (for 336 yards with no picks) passing performance, and 5 overall TD's against a ranked opponent received very little coverage.
VY and Leinhart both have 12 TD's and 5 interceptions right now. Their yards/attempt are both a hair under 10 yards. And VY's completion percentage is 67.3% to Leinart's 63.1%. Factor in VY's contribution with their running game and it shouldn't a close contest between the 2 of them at this point.

If I were voting it would be:
Young
Bush
Drew
Stanton
Hawk
Our defense basically came out and said "Vince has to beat us in the air" and he did. Very few said he could. He proved us all wrong. He has not had a poor performance yet this year. Vince is in a league of his own right now. Bush is second.
But I see Bush winning it because the media is so busy blowing USC.
I put Hawk in fifth simply to avoid the homer tag. He really belongs ahead of Stanton. Unlike previous years, there are too many offensive players having huge seasons to give a linebacker the nod. Although he certainly deserves the invite to New York, he'll have to settle for the Butkus and the Bednarik.

Yep - for young it was 3 if by land (equalling Bush's total) but 2 through the air seal the deal. Its the second time he has accounted for a majority of the scoring in consecutive games. In fact past the comeback in the Shoe he has been on a tear - with only the game against Rice as one where a crumudgeon could argue he did less to win a game. But then again, against Rice why not have their running backs carry the load?
As I come to think of it, the only thing he has yet to do to add shine to his Heisman campaign is Catch The Ball.
Bush is no slouch either, but Young is coming on at the right time of the year.

this is nothing more than sour grapes, but there were also two (imo)Touchdown catches in the Mizzou game that were called incomplete and then not even reviewed. Vince eneded that game with 1td and 1int instead of 3:1. Since that game, the big12 has said that up to 14 penalties or nocalls that went agianst texas were wrong. By the way, the same crew is reffing the Tech game this weekend.
