he went to grambling 1st, but flunked a [censored] test, so he never even suited up there. That's when he landed at McNeese.

I'm glad to see he had the balls to make this move.
I personally felt like the Kona Bar incident should have been his last, but cautiously trusted Miles knew more about the situation than I did and had good reason to keep him around.
Kicking RP off is going to be a whole lot better for us in the long run (just home the natives don't freak if/when we struggle this year). Now, everyone on the team knows he if he ain't afraid to boot the "star" QB off, then everyone is fair game.

The Lofton kid should have gotten a LOT more attention than it did. Took a lot of internal strength and courage to fight through that. Dude gets one story on ESPN (at least it was front page) after fighting a life threatening disease. A thug like RP who has negatively affected the lifes of everyone (players and coaches) on the team, gets his mug plastered all over the internet.
I wish him no ill will, but won't shed any tears if the only success he ever has is flipping burgers at the McDonald's in LaPlace.

Will Michigan drop down to Div. II to get RP on the field this fall?

that's the word around town is cocaine.
I have no confirmation, and have just heard it from a couple different people.
We may not be as bad off next year as people are thinking.
We came one defensive brain fart from winning the West with Marcus Freaking Randall as our QB in '02.
Auburn looks to possibly have a down year, Bama ain't back yet, Ole [censored] Sucks, Arky lost A LOT. So surprisingly it may be between us and Miss St (WTF?).
Anything can happen in Atlanta should we get there. (yeah, I'm trying to put as positive a spin as possible)

I'm not understanding why he would make these kind of decisions...? As a DI student/athlete on scholarship, other than peer pressure why would an individual with as much talent and a great future put everything that is great in jeopardy? Knowing he was on thin ice to begin with, you would think he would have learned the first couple times that the decisions you make have consequences. Well, it's too late now, hopefully for the sake of himself, he learned this time. LSU should still be fine though, If he hadn't been caught, it may have brought the team down anyway if any of the teammates knew what he was doing drugs. I'm a firm believer in one man not making the team, someone else should be able to step up and fill that hole.
