Reserve(LA)

4.5 40
Biography
Quote:
Perrilloux is Mr. New Orleans after passing for 2600 yds (29 TDs/5 picks) and running for 1274 yds (22 TDs). This year, he's Mr. Louisiana and one of the top signal-caller's nationwide.
"He's going to be offered by everybody in America," said East. St. John head coach Larry Dauterive.
"I do it all. I can run and throw. I have a lot of time to throw and I have a real strong arm. I'm also real fast and the type of QB that everyone wants. I want to improve reading defenses and anticipation."

Considered one of the top quarterbacks in the 2005 class, he's already been rated the top QB prospect in the country by Rivals.. His early top 3 is Ohio State, USC(another #1 guy?) and Texas and all have offered. Also has offers from LSU, scUM, Miami, Alabama, and Colorado to name a few. Great feet, strong arm and he's accurate. Early PT will be a factor and Texas may have the early lead because of their depth chart.

By signing Nader Abdallah this year, OSU has at least some presence in Louisiana. That can't hurt with Perrilloux.

that is incredible news- most felt LSU or Cryami- what a coup if he were to come to tOSU
he was also a top 5 player for '05 by Insiders

1. Ryan Perrilloux (QB, 6'4", 220) from East ST John. Ryan Perrilloux reminds college scouts of LSU redshirt freshman quarterback JaMarcuss Russell. Perrilloux's arm strength is comparable to J. Russell, but Perrilloux has better foot speed and is a better runner. It appears to be a battle between LSU and Miami for Perrilloux's signature.

Truly fantastic that so many OOS greats are taking serious looks at Ohio State. Who'd have thought that the top Louisiana QB would look at Ohio State, a perennial running team, over flash-and-dash bling-bling schools like Miami.

Look for Texas to be a major player for Ryan's services as they were shunned by all their QB recruitng targets last year. Throw in the fact that they do not have anyone behind Vince Young after Chance Mock graduates next year and Perilloux will be one of the Horn's top priorities. There's also a small possibility VY could declare early for the NFL draft (some local buzz I've heard here).
I'd be surprised if the Mack Brown charm does not land Perrilloux in Austin next year.

Mack might have charm, but he's the Cooper of the Southwest.
