I do. Success in the NFL (which he didn't have in his first two go-rounds there) would vault him into a status of being one of the top coaches ever, rather than arguably being one of the top college coaches ever (if he wins several more NCs at USC).

Let's not forget that this is a man who is off on some island wearing Trojans, as you yourself just admitted.

This suggests that, while its not like there has been a lack of transparency, it's possible that no one is getting a real feel for this sticky situation either.

i think hes taking the Falcons job. why? he wants out. the NCAA is gonna put usc on probation when [censored] officially hits the fan.

I still haven't seen anything out there that implicates USC and no one is talking.

the NCAA likely has nothing to go on to put USC on probation so that point has little merit IMO.

Not so fast my friend! My UCLA alumni friends have informed be that the PAC 10 which they assure me is tougher on their own than the NCAA is close to popping USuCk hard. These were the same friends that predicted Mallet transfer about a week before it happened. I don't know what will happen but It has kind of the OJ Simpson feel to it out here. You know he did it but can they prove it..... My bet is yes they will and It's going to be bad...sorry Methomps...Bush=NC! Bush=probation? time will tell. If it happens Petey on a private jet to DC

The Washington job isn't bad, you have talent, they are a playoff team and he could actually have success quickly there. It's just a matter of how much more would he make for the pressure he would take?

See, last year, he was mentioned for the S.D. job but quickly shot it down, the pressure is pretty light in S.D., it was tough for Norv Turner because he's a proven loser, and he was stepping into the shoes of someone who had won 14 games and produced the leagues MVP. Carroll wouldn't have endured that, he's loved in Southern Cal, not to mention the teams talent level is pretty high, and he passed on that job, why on earth would he go to DC where he's not going to get that pass because of who he is?

Maybe he wants the challenge, but I don't see it, he could make a couple million more a year, but over time he'll make it at SC and just continue getting top ranked talent and unless something comes from the whole Bush Scandal it's not like he's going to get run out of town.

If no one is talking to the NCAA, no one is talking to the Pac-10. Besides if the NCAA isn't going to take any action against USC sure as hell the Pac-10 won't.....

Methinks your fUCLA friends are dreaming.......

Besides if Bush DID DO anything it won't necessarily matter to the school if he did it and they can't be proven to have had any knowledge of it the incident. Just because Reggie Bush was getting paid doesn't ipso facto implicate the school to any wrongdoing.....
