I should rephrase that question...

yes,

Yes, there's a Dispatch article about it. They track all of the 1st rounders back to 1970. 1998 was only only year we didn't have a first rounder. I don't know about the rest of the draft.

Of course, OSU was on a serious decline at that time. I don't even want to think what would've happened if Coop stayed longer. 1999 was a horrible year and 2000 wasn't much worse.

Ohio also has a lot more talent than Mich in college football.
You might have the years mixed up. In 1998 Ohio State had zero players drafted. Michael Wiley, N'ail Diggs, Ahmed Plummer, and Gary Berry were drafted in 2000. The year before wasn't that bad. Joe Germaine, David Boston, Joe Montgomery, Andy Katzenmoyer, Damon Moore, and Antoine Winfield were drafted.

Correct. In 1998, OSU didn't have a single player drafted, while Youngstown St had one.

Data correct, year wrong. Good call. 1998 is what I should have typed.

Maybe LLLLoyd really is a good coach. He just doesn't have any talent.
