But if Michael Floyd isn't in the NFL by the 2012 season (which would be his 5th-year senior season after a medical redshirt), I'll be shocked. He's a total stud that should make the jump ASAP. So if he's healthy, I'd expect to see him in a bowl game this year. |

I knew you were messin' with Weis; I was just explaining what the 'direction' could mean, since the article didn't mention it.

Injuries abound on offense early in the season. Just read an article on ESPN:
Floyd may be back sooner than a Bowl Game, but they're still calling it a season ending injury to be safe. In the meantime he's motivating the team along with Clausen to step up. Clausen basically has turf toe, he'll sit out practice today and take some snaps tomorrow in preparation for Purdue Armando Allen has a sprained ankle, but they believe he'll play at Purdue Saturday. Tailback turned Fullback, James Aldridge, is out till USC at least with a sprained shoulder. That injury goes back since Nevada. Aldridge was once considered a decent prospect at Tailback, but due to poor O-line performance the last few years none of the backs really gained any yards till this year. No word on who is taking Floyd's place this weekend. Parris has been listed as #2, but theres some talk that Kamara may get a chance again. Jonas Gray is currently the backup to Armando, but he's had trouble holding onto the ball, namely a costly fumble at Michigan that lead to a TD. Robert Hughes is also a candiate as a ball carrier, but he also spends some time at Fullback now I believe. Theo Riddick is a Freshman that's had some nice Kickoff Returns, but its doubtful he'd share snaps with Gray if Armando isn't ready to go. |

So, I have to ask.... what do the ND faithful have to say about Steve Sarkisian beating USC with Ty Willingham's players?

Jump to the NFL, and if it doesn't work out he still has a [censored]load of money to finish his degree.

You forget that ND fans claim the loss in 2005 as a win after the PAC 10 refs blew the Bush Push. No, seriously, we lost that game because we let Reggie Bush run all over us, we had no answer.USC tends to lose one game every season that they're heavily favored in, ala Oregon State, Stanford, etc. Despite the fact Barkley was out and Locker is a decent QB, I don't know if they'll lose another PAC 10 game this season. |

I think SC could lose to Cal, but time will tell, I guess. |

Clausen has turf toe and is limping. Floyd is gone for the season. They could be in some much tougher games now. They could really struggle to win 7-8 games. At Purdue won't be an easy game for them.

You mean the Purdue team that just lost, at home, to MAC team Northern Illinois?

Clausen is hurt and limping. Floyd is gone. They just had a highly emotional win over MSU. They are ripe for the upset at night at Purdue.

That just leads to Dayne "Passion of the" Christ. Tebow better watch out...
