Jenkins is listed behind Roddy White right now. Stepanovich is currently only starting because of an injury otherwise by NFL.com he's 2nd string. If we go by who's starting now we could have Shlegal.

You're right, I missed the Jets, but Allen, Glenn, and Diggs all appear to be 2nd String. I shouldn't have forgotten about Pace, but for some reason Scout's website doesn't have him listed on any NFL Teams which was the list I used, they need to correct that =P I'm curious, does EPSN update the Depth Charts of each team weekly, and do the team's official sites do the same? Thats a mess right there.

The links were from NFL.com and they're depth charts which seem to be more up to date than ESPN's as I checked both. The links go directly to the NFL teams depth chart.
Glenn has been starting for years, he's just hurt right now, that may be why scout doesn't list him as starter. But the NFL. com charts list him on top where he should be. Diggs and Allen have recently replaced starters it seems. |

I was usin' Jax's link on the first page, hadn't checked your's there. Guess I'll have to look through them again
Its not a big deal though, just was something interesting I saw this morning. If I have time this afternoon I'll compare NFL.com and ESPN's charts to the team sites. Its possible the team's sites don't update after the start of the season. |

Several things stick out in my mind: I can't remember anyone ever saying ND had a bad recruiting year in the last three decades. They've gotten the kids they've wanted for quite some time, the ostrich/pickle man being the best current example. The quality of their recruiting is reflected in the number of players they've advanced to the pros. Weiss inherited quite a bit of talent and Weiss has brought in three years worth of his own hand-picked talent.
What Mr. Offensive Genius hasn't been able to do is win the big games with the talent he has on board. He's an arrogant blow hard with a track record for shooting off his mouth and not having his teams ready for the next game. While MOG was using all his #1s all the time, Tressel was driving for an important touchdown against Texas with his #2 offensive line and stopping the likes of Michigan and ND with multiple defensive DLs. Now all of MOG's talent is gone and last year's #2s aren't ready for prime time. How convenient that they will be ready when the Stanfords, Dukes and Military Academies roll into town. I can just hear MOG now, "If we could go back and play the first half of the season now, we'd show 'em what a tactical scheme advantage looks like." In the mean time, the practice of driving off the kids you no longer want so you can bring in more recruits is undoubtedly in place. It has been around for quite some time and is certainly not limited to ND by any stretch, but I would imagine the incentive to do so is certainly greater at a school where the tuition base is in the 30K range than at an 11K public school. Oh for heaven's sake - shouldn't the Irish fans watch ND WIN some games before crowning their presumptive Heisman winners. (Or, how Clausen was dethroned when Sharpley threw to Tate).
Seriously, there is a poll question up at the Notre Dame Observer which asks -- "How many Heisman Trophies will Golden Tate win?" The choices do not include the number zero! 63% of them say 1 - 26% of them say 4. And say that it is the subway alumni who are the arrogant fanbase. |

BTW, Tate's numbers on the year: 3 receptions for 104 yards and 1 TD; 1 rush for 4 yards; 11 kick-off returns for 263 yards.... * yawn * |

15 touches + 371 all-purpose yards + 1 touchdown = 4 Heismans!
