Couple things here...

First. Wow. My condolences to the Michigan Program. Never thought i'd say that during this week but wow. R.I.P

Second. Looks like ol' Woody & Bo will be watching the biggest big in the rivalry they basically built together, with a better view than all of us.

Third. Now, im feeling a LITTLE uncertainty with tomorrows game. Something as tragic as this can propel a team to do unimaginable things. Lets hope this time, it does not.

I think that this is quite the motivation for them. I was pretty confident about the game this morning. This afternoon- i have to admit- it became more of a toss up

BO SCHEMBECHLER: OSU'S MOST VALIANT FOE: The band is crushed to learn of the death of Bo Schembechler. We named this band after Coach Schembechler to honor him as the face of Wolverine football. We have never wished ill will upon him in any way and have always wished him the best. When we learned that Bo had seen our web site and was amused by it we were delighted. We were simply delighted. He said to those with him as he read it, "See, I still matter in Columbus!" That may have been the greatest understatement in football history. We believe that he took the band's name as the compliment that it was meant as and that he was flattered by it. We wish to extend our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to his family. We are truly sorry for their loss.

I didn't believe it when I first heard it. I was very young when Woody passed, and my mom went to his funeral. She always talked good about Bo speaking at it. He will sorely be missed. A great coach....RIP Bo

You can go to WDFN.com (detroit sports station) to post a tribute to Bo. I think it's important to show the Blues that we respected the hell out of Bo. I don't believe the Wolverines can use this as an inspiration AGAINST Ohio State... in fact I believe that both teams will take this as an inspiration. No fooling around, this is the Big Game, this is what you become a Buckeye (or Wolverine) for, to play your best in this biggest of games.

I would expect the Shoe to have a minute of silence, and I wouldn't be surprised to see both teams with a "Bo" on their helmet --- he was, after all, a Buckeye and a protege of Woody.

Can you picture them together, face to face, watching tomorrow's game????

Being a buckeye fan I know all about Bo Schembechler. I never thought I would see the day I was crying over a michigan coach, but this is seriously sad

It's going to be an interesting mood now coming into The GAME, and I feel saddened that the scum's legend will miss the most important one yet. I bleed scarlet and grey, and yet know that the game of football still pales to the loss of one of the reasons this game means so much.

All of a sudden, this game has had introduced to it a deeper emotional factor that will play into the mood all afternoon. How much more electric did we need the atmosphere to be?! I can't say that this benefits anyone, and the people that may lean towards tsun's motivation (which I know will be spun out of the mainstream media outlets eventually...), don't really understand what this rivalry means to us Buckeyes. We are saddened by this loss because Bo represented by what most of us fans consider the birth of the hatred on the gridiron, that symbol of the villian.

From my perspective, and born a buckeye, I know that I see them as the enemy, and yet I feel very sad for the loss. Imagine light without the darkness. As much as I hate tsun, you have to have the dark to have the light, and this exists because of our light, beloved Woody, and the dark, the hated Bo.

Rest in Peace, Bo.
