Rivals Radio
Sirius 123 from 7:00 - 10:00 weekday mornings. It's a decent radio show, as far as radio shows go. The host is some guy named Bill King. I don't know what he did to deserve the show. But he seems OK. If he's a fan, or ever was a fan of a specific team, I haven't been able to figure it out.
Basically, the show is college football for 3 straight hours. But it's a national show, so people will call in from all over with really weird opinions about who know what team. And their really weird opinions will often times [censored] off fans of other teams. For instance, a few weeks ago, some Michigan fan called up saying that if Michigan and Ohio State were each undefeated, was there a chance they'd be 1 and 2 when they face each other? And the answer was "Yes, but....." and he went through some scenarios where Michigan could make it to #2. Some Auburn fans were REALLY [censored]ed. It was pretty funny. Anyway, if you have Sirius, check it out. Or don't. I don't care.

One complaint I have about the show: A couple of weeks ago, I caught the host referring to Ohio State as "Ohio." It bothers me when people say that. But he's usually pretty good.

I didn't know where to put this information. But I knew I had this thread started from a long time ago.
Anyway, on Rivals Radio this morning (Sirius 123, and I think it's on the internet, somewhere, too) they're supposed to have a "Buckeye Preview." Sometimes they spend 15-30 minutes out of their airtime to preview one team. I don't know exactly when the "Buckeye Preview" is supposed to be. The show is 7:00 - 10:00. Up until about 7:45 they hadn't had the preview. And they're supposed to interview James Laurinaitis.

Has anyone listened to this recently?
They keep playing a recording of someone (I don't know who) talking about LSU. And he says (almost word-for-word) "LSU is a 2-ton gorilla. With a.. with a chainsaw for a penis." Does anyone know who they have on recording saying that? Is it a coach for an opposing team? A strange fan who called up? Whoever it is, the guy needs to win a Pulitzer, or something. It's poetry.

Did anyone hear the "double penetration" bit Rivals Radio did? A few months back, I guess some NBA sideline reporter was asking a player or coach about dribble penetration and she inadvertently said "double penetration"....they played the cut back like sixteen times that day!

Just listened to it today to hear what they had to say about Adams. Bill King needs to learn how to speak into a microphone. He's either way too far away or way too close to it. It gets extremely annoying.
