Wisconsin - possibly BCS-worthy?
After the way Wisconsin shut down the Purdue offense today, the look like a pretty decent team. They're ranked pretty low for a one-loss team in a major conference. Looking at their remaining schedule, they'll have some tough games, but they're all winnable. If they win out, their only loss would have come to scUM. With the Bucks and Wolverweenies being so strong this year, they could end up 11-1 and in THIRD place in the conference. Right now, their BCS ranking isn't all that great, but if they start getting a little love from the voters, do any of you think that they could end up contending for a spot in a BCS game? There are two extra at-large spots this year, and an undefeated OSU and two more 11-1 Big Ten teams would make a strong case for three entries by the conference into the BCS. What does everyone else think?

It trumps all things because it's the Ohio State-M*ch*g*n game. And I would like to think our guys understand that, but there's only one demonstration of understanding that and that's at 12:00 noon on Saturday.

I think I hate Wisconsin. And since Iowa owns them it won't matter, chalk them up for 10-2.

I think there's a rule that caps BCS teams to 2 per conference

UM has to beat Iowa first (3-0 in the 3rd). If UM falls today, Wisky would be rooting for the good guys on the 18th.

An ND loss would've helped Wisky's cause tremendously.

Wisky can't make the BCS unless they win out, a ton of teams lose, and OSU absolutely hammers Michigan, dropping them below Wisky in the polls.

All host teams earning an automatic berth in a BCS bowl game must be selected to play in one of the BCS bowls. No more than two teams from any single Conference may be selected to play in the BCS bowl games.

They are the third best team in the Big Ten.
They are a legit top 20 team.
