Not that I would have voted for Georgia myself, but god forbid that anyone could actually believe that a 6-4 team in the SEC is better than, say, a 7-3 Big 12 North team.

Absolutely. I'm not questioning losing to Florida or Tennessee. I'm questioning getting absolutely blown out by Tennessee, losing to Vanderbilt and Kentucky, and almost losing to Ole Miss, Miss St, and Colorado too.
Georgia just is not very good this year.
I'm hoping somebody meant to select Georgia Tech at 19 in their submissions this week, and had Georgia there instead by mistake.
