That's a bit harsh. At least we've allowed him to post, no matter how hilarious it is. Frankly he's entertaining. Try to go on an ND site and inform them that they're overrated and a BCS joke. You'll get banned quicker than Charlie at an all you can eat buffet. The fact is they will make a BCS bowl, continue their bowl game losing streak, and continue to amuse us. So, all personal attacks aside against Mr. Weis, I just want to reset the topic for a moment.
For Notre Dame's 3 million dollar coach, 2005 got NDU, 9 wins 2 defeats and a spanking by tOSU in the Fiesta Bowl. 2006 got NDU, 10 wins 2 defeats and we'll see where the blue and gold boys go but more than likely no better than a #10 ranking I'm guessing. Right?
I mean, no offense, but if NDU wanted a guy that could win easy games, lose to his arch rival every year (he's lost twice to USC now) and have a great record on paper to show for it but not much else. . . NDU should have hired our old buddy John Cooper and saved themselves a ton of money. 
All kidding aside, I think Charlie has done a nice job in Notre Dame and all that but he hasn't really won a big, meaningful game up there yet. He beat scUM last year and PSU this year but he's lost twice to USC now and if he gets defeated in his bowl game in '07, I wonder if he'll be on the hot seat up there? |

Did anyone see the Weis and Carroll meeting on the field prior to the game? In the ESPN excerpt, it looks like Weis tries to shake Carroll's hand twice and he ignores him. Is that what happened?
