Of course your right, but the thing is when you actually make a bowl game, it makes it tougher to keep a winning streak going. Oh, that's right I'm preaching to the choir, ND knows all about losing in a bowl game don't they.
Looks like Charlie and the Cheesecake, Chocolate, Hamburger, Omelet, et.al., factory have finally figured out how to end the season on a good note.

Neither ND or OSU can really brag about bowl records.......

ND cannot brag going back going back oh so, so many years - regardless of the bowl or opponent.
OSU cannot brag on two consecutive BCS National Championship Games.
As for bowl games - all the way back to the first BCS National Championship game under Tressel - you know they can claim several scalps, often against BCS level competition.
Numbered amongst which of course is ND.
