The split on the Maxwell is about 50:50 or so as to whether the Heisman goes to the same guy.
Since 1990:
Detmer, Howard, Torretta, Ward, George, Wuerffel, Williams, Dayne, and White were all Heisman winners (9) but Collins, Manning, Brees, Dorsey, Johnson, Manning, and Young were not (7).
All that said, no way Quinn gets the Heisman.

Jason White did not win the Maxwell and Heisman in the same season fwiw. You have to go back to 1999, to Ron Dayne, for the last time the same player won both awards in the same year. I'd say the trend is against the same player winning both in the same year. My condolences to Brady.

The awards are getting like the bowls. They keep adding more and more and the achievement gets watered down every step of the way.
I'm just waiting to see Troy take the biggest individual award of them all Saturday evening, right after YSU wins.

I have read of one writer, some douchebag from Tulsa, not voting for Troy in the Heisman. It's his and it will be by a landslide. If Quinn hadn't tripped over his own feet in the big games, I'd be worried...but he did, and I'm not.
