ESPN Home Depot CFB Award Show
Just watching the Award show on ESPN and I watched the story of the blind and handicap young man in the Louisville band. A real tear jerker... a seemingly grateful young man who thanked god for the gifts he was given. What was even more touching was the fact that his dad was with him every step of the way. His dad works a night shift for UPS from 11 pm till 6am then sleeps and wakes up at 11am to take his son to school. He sits through classes and practice and wheels him through all functiuons. An amazing individual. What shocked me is that with everyone that was thanked... James left out his father. Wow!

My wife and I were talking about that, I kept saying he must be saving him for last. After he wasn't mentioned I got 2 text messages from friends talking about the same thing. I know the kid was overwhelmed but he has to feel horrible about it.

No eyes? If that wasn't bad enough he is unable to walk? Takes a special kid to have a positive outlook on life after that.
