Most rational Michigan fans have given up on Pryor. We believe he's down to OSU and PSU. On Tuesday night he was all ready to sign to OSU, but his dad's in love with PSU i guess and wanted him to consider them more. Pryor's pushing for OSU, his dad's pushing for PSU, and nobody's pushing for Michigan. It was a nice run but we started too late. We're already looking forward to next year's recruiting of Sheppard, Newsome, Forcier, and Newton.

It's been said a few times already, but switch Koger to DE. You guys don't know what your missing there. Plus, you already have Moore in that class and TE isn't even on your priority list.

We'll be hurting there because Jamison is a senior this year, and if Graham has a monster season he might leave for the NFL. Then in 2009 we'd have RS Junior Greg Banks, Senior Adam Patterson, RS Sophomore Ryan Van Bergen, and whoever we recruit this season. None of those 3 players have seen significant playing time in their career yet, so it would be a concern.

Just a note, Carson Butler is upset with the new workouts that Michigan does now. He's complaining because of all the running that they have to do. In previous seasons under Gittleson they ran untimed 20 yard dashs and other runs in jaunts of 10 yards. Now under Barwis they run timed 40, 60, 80, and 100 yard dashs. If you don't reach the time you're required to get, you have to do extra running after the strength and conditioning is over for that day. All the players complaining right now are the players that didn't exert themselves to their fullest ability under the previous S&C coach, and it's showing. Not saying he might leave, but he's one of many players that are complaining about how hard it is now. We've had 8 players leave the program already, 2 because of medicals, Mallett transferring, 2 offensive lineman who would never see the field, 2 more linemen who didn't have the heart to continue playing on, and 1 defensive linemen for unclosed reasons.

On a serious note, Barwis may have been UM's key hire. (Yeah, I know. Earlier I said it would be the DC, but I changed my mind.) Sounds like the boys up north are getting pushed a LOT harder in the weight room and on the track. Whether or not it shows a greater toughness on the field remains to be seen, but, at the very least, guys will be mentally tougher. If what everyone says about RR and his practice "demeanor" is true, the fun is just beginning for Butler and the rest.

Butler and Mitchell were the first names that came to mind once I learned that barwis was closing the country club.

Waah waah waah. Too bad Carson. There's a reason why Michigan has lost so many fourth quarter games in recent years or even just the second half. The old S&C program was brutal. When Ryan Mundy comes out and says "Oh we do these new things at WVU like squats and hang cleans", that's concerning. Squats and hang cleans should be two of the lifts performed very frequently by any athlete, and any S&C program that doesn't do them is retarded. I bet you Carson won't complain when Michigan is outlasting teams in the second half/fourth quarter.
