Have you watched film on Boom Herron, Lamaar Thomas? Or are you just assuming your guys are better?

See, this is where we have our big difference. Saine? I know Saine has all the potential in the world and will probably be a big-play guy and all that when Wells is out of the way. But Brown has an extra year of experience, and Saine's numbers come mainly from two games last year: Washington and Kent State. Both teams had the run defense of a wet paper towel, same as Brown and Minnesota. You can have Saine, I'll take Brown any day.

Extra year of experience doing what? Carlos doesn't even have a full set of spring practices under RR's system, due to his injury.

He switched back around the time he was thinking of transferring... Very fortunate to have retained him... as he could very well be their best option behind center at times.

But at one time he was considered a DB for Michigan, right? He must have been a real star on the offensive side of the ball.

Which had nothing to do with his RB abilities and everything to do with the weakness at DB and the logjam at RB. Brown's more athletic than Minor.

Add that one to the list:
Coach with obvious character issues. Good.
Losing your most experienced offensive lineman. Good.
Possible walk on starting QB. Good.
Backup RBs who played DB last year, and were injured this spring. Good.
