speaking of QB recruits...Tate Forcier is now a cancer and UM fans are glad RR stopped recruiting him.

^Thats a shame because I wanted them to take 3-4 QB's this year and neglect their defense.

It is amazing how their recruiting is going down the [censored]ter. If you look at their top 10-15 recruits the majority of them are pipedreams. They have offered about 5-6 guys from Mississippi for some reason...They might get one of them but from what I have been told on the MSU scout site they better not get too ecited about their chances because Croom is starting to recruit well...I heard Boyd is a lock for MSU.

They better start recruiting DE's...IMO Simms ends up at MSU for Basketball.

So out of curiosity....who do you think are the 10-15 recruits? And do you mean top 10-15 players that we have interest in, or top 10-15 targets?

Because I gotta tell ya. Your credibility is less than zero when you say things like our "recruiting is going down the [censored]ter".

Not sure if Michigan recruiting is "going down the [censored]ter", but it hasn't been all that impressive for

Michigan has seven current commits, of which only two are ranked in the top 10 in the country at their position (per Scout). Conversely, Ohio State has 14 current commits, of which nine are in the top 10 in the country at their position. Bump that up to top 20 in the country at their position, and Michigan has three of seven whereas Ohio State has 11 of 14.

It's nowhere near impressive, but its more no near "down the [censored]ter." RR has only be in Michigan for 5 months. You don't establish relationships with coaches that take time in 5 months, and in that time other coaches like Tressell will already have had years worth of relationships with those coaches and those players. Give him time before you can say UM recruiting is going down the [censored]ter. And Millani, it's directed at the other person, I just quoted you.

I think that there are some here who believe that this "relationship with coaches" that you mention is one reason (one of many) that we feel that you have hired your Cooper.

He should already have many relationships built from has time at WVU, shouldn't he? Granted, his base will be much larger at um, but he's not totally new to this. It certainly doesn't help being tied up in a very ugly, very public court case.

The ugliness of the court proceedings and stories about his antics coming out into public view certainly cannot help. UM fans can deny all they want, but there is a stink around him right now that may be scaring coaches and recruits away. How can you trust him after the way he left all his former kids hanging at wvu?
