Yeah, that TD run was sick, as was his big run in the 1st quarter (He knocked that Mountaineer out on that stiff arm).

did anyone see Mike Hart in post game news conference... he was laughing. He said.. they lost because of small mistakes etc.

good going. I didn't hear him say they got beat. not once.

I think so. He's working with the [censored]show Twins at corner, breaking in some new backers etc....He made some good adjustments at half, but it wasn't enough. I still want him as the next coach

My question is, where is the evidence of his coaching pedigree? Who has he coached up? I know UM's talent has been lacking a bit in the secondary, but it's hard to identify his coaching.

OTOH, the LB coaching between 05 & 06 was obvious... dramatic difference. They did have better clay to mold, but the improvements were dramatic.

Well, the defense improved drastically from 05 to 06. Had the majority of the same players, and they were significantly better. He's not 100% proven, let's not kid ourselves. He still needs work, but I'd take him over Lloyd.

For the second part, I'd say it's a bit of both. English is a great recruiter, young, energetic, fiery, in your face etc....everything Lloyd isn't. If DeBord becomes the coach I will be tempted to change my favorite team. His idea of a creative play is TEs running intersecting crossing routes. God I hate him. Loved the Mallett at TE call though. There's no [censored]ing way UM with all of their firepower should only score 32 points vs. Appalachian State. We need an O-coordinator who will take the shackles off this playbook. [censored], if it's 3rd and 12, go 5 wide or something like that. Creativity, please.

You must have had your scarlet ear plugs in. He said that App. State were the better team and that they were one of the fastest teams he's ever gone up against.
