This is gonna hurt down the stretch especially with defensive players. If Kevin Koger believes he is gonna play TE at Michigan hes kidding himself. That young man is gonna be moved immediately to DE. Michigan has absolutely 0 depth at every position on their defense. The only player that has even remotely looked good is Terrance Taylor. Crable is lost!!! absolutely confused and running around like a chicken with his head cut off. A recruit has to be wondering what are they doing out there. I know I would not want to be part of that defense.

This is gonna help MSU more than any other school in the conference. If I were Dantonio I would be in full assault of Cissoko. There is a great chance THE head coach and defensive coordinator not being there next year. I would not verbal to a school that I had no realtionship with the coaches...IF MICHIGAN GETS RID OF CARR IT WILL BE MOST LIKELY AFTER THE BOWL GAME THAT GIVES THEM 1 MONTH TO TRY AND SCRAMBLE GETTING AND RETAINING RECRUITS.

They have 3 defensive verbals right now and I'm sure the majority of the prospects they have are scratching Michigan off their lists. This only perpetuates the lack of and depth of defensive talent on their team. This slide will affect them for at least 2-3 more years. They lose their 2 best safeties and their best linebacker on a defense that is already in shambles.

I read somewhere that the backup RB, Carlos Brown, was tried at CB this past off season.

What the holy hell does that say about the CB's you've got?

Is there a quick post or link to Michigan's current commitment list and their star rating? I'm curious to see what kind of class Carr's putting together for next year, and the general quality of the defensive verbals.

Anger over slow start could affect U-M's future

Public frustration might prompt recruits to look elsewhere.

Michigan's 0-2 start has negative implications on many levels, even trickling into recruiting.

Boubacar Cissoko, a Detroit Cass Tech defensive back who gave Michigan a verbal commitment last February for the 2008 class, has attended both of the Wolverines' losses this season. And while he remains steadfast he will play in Ann Arbor next fall, other programs have seen him as easy prey.

Cissoko said this week that not long after Michigan's 39-7 loss to Oregon last Saturday, he heard from coaches from seven programs, including Louisiana State, Tennessee, Michigan State and Miami (Fla.)

"I had some other coaches call from other schools to get me to come," Cissoko said. "Especially since the last game, they've been trying to get me to decommit. I'm not going to let that bother me. I still love Michigan. I still want to go there."

That's a decent recruiting class! But, only 4 defensive players, although one is there sole 5-star recruit. Still, the rest is a pile of 4-stars and it looks like they have a Heisman winner's little brother.
