I'm just tired of hearing how RR will make Michigan a NC in a year or two. The media has his nuts in their mouth. The vast majority of their fanbase are unrealistic. Personally I don't care who Michigan has coaching or playing because they are not beating us at home next year. I'm sitting back and laughing at this whole situation...3NC games in 6 years speaks for itself and its not unrealistic to think 4 in 7.

I suppose anyone can interpret the article either way. I like my way better. We'll have to see. That's really the first thing I've seen in print of any kind that discusses MM's future, whether staying or going. We've all assumed he's gone, because it'd be logical, but we've yet to actually hear from the man himself until just now.

If he is projected as a 1st round pick (which i believe he is), i can't see how coming back would benefit him (outside of academic goals he might have). next year will be challenge with the new system et al, especially for a WR. Even if they weren't breaking in a new QB.

That academic goals thing is just it. If a guy wants to get his degree, and doesn't want to wait and come back later to finish it up, nothing else is going to matter.

And I did not know Trent had a fifth year of eligibility (he's listed as a senior.) He appears to be committed 100% to returning, which should help keep some continuity in the secondary. (Doubt he'd have been drafted.) I still believe Adams and Englemon, the safeties, were the two best players back there, but Trent got better as the year went on.

There has been no word on whether receivers Mario Manningham and Adrian Arrington will return to Michigan for their final seasons.
