He is a good recruiter, but doesnt have the track record of getting his teams up for big games. Just maybe he can return Illinois back to a middle of the road team in the big ten. Just hope he never wins against tOSU.

Zook is actually a decent coach, and probably just what Illinois needs. He may not be the megahire, but it's good for a team that has been terrible recently, and it is better than anyone that Indiana, Notre Dame, and a handful of other "better" schools will get. One thing I have noticed about the Illini is that they just don't seem to want to play for Turner, and Zook won't have that problem.

Anyone else think its interesting he doesn't have to change any of his decorations around his house, just the logos? Maybe if he had gators or something, but he's still bright orange and blue.
