Gosh, Purity, you know what? You're right! - Kirk Ferentz is a courageous soul who really slaps on the discipline at Iowa.
- That's why no one there has ever been arrested or gotten in trouble since he arrived.
- The sterling discipline is perfectly visible in the courageous (guess that's just an Iowa trait!) way in which Allen despatched that innocent bystander.
- Also, Iowa is the top football team in the country and is gonna walk in the 'Shoe and kick the living hell out of the Buckeyes while on the way to the National Championship.
- And finally, thanks for speaking so directly in response to the questions people have raised about your team and the very strong and persuasive arguments you have raised.

Penn State's second-leading tackler last year is suspended indefinitely for making prank phone calls to Joe Sarra, a retired assistant coach and longtime friend of Joe Paterno. Don't think this is just another example of Paterno losing touch. He may not have any idea who The Game is, and may have taken 10 years too long to get hip to a spread offense, but this is an example of down right stupidity on Connor's part and he's being held accountable.
Paterno has already had to deal with enough offseason issues; the near deadly graphite arrow incident, sexual misconduct, drunk driving, underage drinking and an ice-rink fight. He's gone through enough embarrassment with a 26-33 record the last five years. This he won't take. He's making an example out of the outside linebacker -- refusing to answer questions pertaining to his situation and taking him off the depth chart -- be damned if it puts a kink in one of the nation's deepest defenses.
With Connor relegated to the scout team, junior Tim Shaw has been moved from middle to outside linebacker, while redshirt freshman Tyrell Sales takes over Shaw's spot.

Your posts just beg for retalition. You stirred up [censored] on two seperate threads: This one, and the " Good LB Thread on BN" thread. You imply that Smith's taking money is equivilent to Allen braking someone's jaw with a cowardly attack. Then you threaten to bring up the Reynolds choking incident (which pales in comparison). Allen's attack on an innocent and unsuspecting bystanding dwarfs Smith's and Reynolds' action in that is was cowardly, brtual, and most of all, [censored]ing criminal. And yet he gets the same suspension as Reynolds and half the suspension of Smith, and you think this is perfectly fine. Then you have the audacity to complain about us putting this back in your face...
