Yeah, I mean let's get some proportionality into this and try to understand things from ESPiN's perspective.
First of all, it's not like the University of Central Arkansas players were trying to pass a photocopied coupon for a strip joint. It was only counterfeit twenty dollar notes. Secondly, it's not like Wade was borrowing cars or lying about his insurance claims, he only shot someone while in a bit of a 'roid rage, and took some dosh. And let's remember, this is all due to Gieger, Tressel and corruption at Ohio State anyway. And let's not forget that Clarett's claims were not backed by evidence because of a great cover-up by Ohio State and Tom Friend can vouch for him. Apparently, and I know this should be going into a rumor thread but it's time it came out, Ohio State brought back the team that did the cover-up on the alien's from Area 51 at Wright-Patterson AFB. All very hush-hush, I know, but we mustn't forget. |

Cornerback had interception in Orange Bowl LOS ANGELES -- Southern California starting cornerback Eric Wright has been arrested for investigation of sexual assault, police said Sunday. The 19-year-old player was taken into custody early Saturday at a campus apartment by officers investigating reports of an assault, police spokeswoman Sara Faden said. Wright was booked on rape charges and bail was set at $100,000, according to the Sheriff's Department. Wright posted bail and was released, Faden said. Faden said no additional details were immediately available. "We're aware of the situation and everyone is cooperating fully," athletic department spokesman Tim Tessalone said. In January, Wright had one of USC's three interceptions as the Trojans won the national championship with a 55-19 victory over Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl. "We don't know a whole lot of information, but we're doing everything we can to help and cooperate," coach Pete Carroll told the Los Angeles Times. "It's just disappointing to think that these things have to come up even to be considered." |

My post crossed with Thomps. Sorry, I guess, thirdly, I should have added that the blame for the latest sexual assault charge on the USC starting defender also should properly be given to the incredibly bad example set by Geiger and Tressel. I'm telling you guys, this program at OSU is completely out of control! Other programs just don't have these problems.

Since we are getting Dukes back after a charge I find to be far worse, I refuse to pass judgement on Wright until facts are sorted out.
I hope to hell he's being being unjustly accused, as was Dukes. |

scooter,
We should all reserve judgement. But how is what Dukes was charged with far worse? |
