Ole Miss QB recruit kicked off team for selling steroids
JACKSON, Miss. -- A quarterback who was to sign with Mississippi on Feb. 6 has been kicked off the team because of an arrest for selling steroids.
Jared Foster, of Madison, who played last season for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, was enrolled in classes at Ole Miss and was informally working out with the team. He was scheduled to formally join the team on National Signing Day and would have been able to practice this spring.
The Clarion-Ledger of Jackson reported Foster's arrest Monday on its Web site. The school announced that Foster was off the team in a one-sentence release but did not say why.
"It's a shame," Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt told the Clarion-Ledger. "But we're trying to build a football program and that's stuff we can't tolerate."
Cont'd ...

ALLEGED HUB ASSAULT
Ex-players to be tried together
Defense anticipated move by county prosecutors
By Pete Bosak- pbosak@centredaily.com
BELLEFONTE ? The Centre County District Attorney's Office has filed notice it will try former Penn State football players Chris Baker and Navorro Bowman together rather that prosecute two trials.
The ex-players' attorneys, Karen Muir and Stacy Parks Miller, said Monday they anticipated the move and are ready to defend their clients against accusations that they took part in the beating and stomping of a Philadelphia man in October.

On looking into this thread, I suddenly remembered back to when jimotis4heisman started it. At that time, he started it because ESPiN and the other "sports journalists" were painting Ohio State with a tar brush as the center of all evil in sports.
JO4H wanted to start a thread just so we could keep track of how we did versus other programs.
Seems to me like a time that we all might just go back and rep him. We now have a thread with nearly 1100 posts. How many of these have focused on someone at Ohio State? Almost none.
Greenies for you buddy!
