My buddy's father tutored Morris over at Columbus Academy when he and his family moved to C-bus...from what I was told, and from what we've all seen through some of his other comments, Derek's opinion of his own talents is QUITE high. Also, it seems as though Derek's father is like one of those over the top sports parents who is a little TOO involved in his kid's athletics. Like one of those nutty tennis pro's dads or something...

Well, after scanning over the game, I am very comfortable in saying Derek Morris was not a big loss talent-wise. He looked lost, shaken, and soft. Throw in his prima-donna bull[censored], his wacky dad, and his ego to further conclude I'm glad that kid left.

I heard his name twice today...neither time in a positive context.

However, this does show what a crapshoot O-line recruiting really is

IIRC, Wasn't he the one standing around on Schlegel's sack? Hawk stunted to the inside, and AS ran around and through the gaping hole that Morris left. I also think he got beat by Fraser on the Hawk interception when Simon beat a double team and was in the qb's face.
