If you ever wanted proof Arizona's o-line was in really rough shape...

Arizona QBs were sacked a total of 45 times in 16 games, thats almost 3 times a game, that may have been the worst in the league. Morris may have a chance to earn a spot....

Bingo. Just look at the history of this kid (SAT issues here and the sudden jump in his score despite not completing a recommended preparatory course). It is just too easy to start letting things slide once you even think you have a chance to go early - and then forget about catching up.

Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has been awarded offensive tackle Derek Morris off waivers from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Morris (6-5, 332) was signed by the Chiefs as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 2, 2006. He played in 25 games (22 starts) during his collegiate career at North Carolina State and started all 11 games at right tackle as a junior for the Wolfpack. Morris declared for the NFL draft following his junior season.

Morris will wear jersey #62.

What is with all these harsh comments and rude jokes against somebody you dont know? To clear up a few things, all your comments about Derek and his family are not factual. Most of you have came on here and commented on things you have no knowledge about. On the first page someone reffered to him as a "fat f***." My question for you is are pro bowlers Orlando Pace and Walter Jones "fat f***s" also? Because Derek weighs just as much as them so I am not sure if you are saying it is a bad thing to be a "fat f***" if professional athletes fall into that category. In general, a OT is over 300 and since you did not know this then your comments about football have no merit. And why are there all these negative comments towards his father? How many of you have actually spoken to the man? You are making the man out to be a monster which he is far from. It appears comments are just being made here because some fans are mad that an athlete did not compete for their team. Derek is a great guy and a great football player with a bright future. I wish people would be more respective of his decisions

And on another note, I actually met Derek since my father is the police chief of the town he went to HS in and the town I go to HS in. He's an asshole who took it upon himself to become an even bigger asshole once learning my family was Buckeye fans, and he earned a good insult from a 14 year old, something I'm proud of to this day.
