What is it with USC alumni and killing boyfriends of ex-wives? First, OJ, now Keyshaun has a restraining order placed on him for threatening the life of an ex's boyfriend. What a nice environment to learn in. Keyshaun BTW also has that "it's about me" attitude. It wasn't enough to win a Super Bowl ring and cry because Gruden told the QB not to throw the ball to me. It also had to carry over to 2003 where Keyshaun gets thrown off the team. My Fred, looks like you will be in good hands at USC. Makes me appreciate people like Tony Gonzalez that much more.

Count me wrong on Miles, but not because he didn't want to be a Buckeye. I hope that we don't see Miles and Hoyer hookup to haunt us some day.
On the bright side though, I believe that OSU is making a real stance when it comes to the combination of academics and athletics. That is how it should be. Hopefully the days of 0.0 grade point averages are gone and future recruits will know that they have to have the grades to come..
Now there is room for both Davis and Jarrett...

Davis to USC
Most of you reading this will allready know that Davis skipped town and commited to USC by now. Is it just me or was that a cheap manuver? I think he knew all along what his decision was and didn't have the balls to come out with it. I'm not try to bash the kid, but honestly. Doesn't it seem that way?

Meh, best of luck to the kid. I don't necessarily agree with his decision and how he *appears* to have handled it, but that has no meaning or bearing on anything. Besides, he's going to a great program (no matter how much I dislike them), and a very WR-friendly offense, and is joining what is now BY FAR the top recruiting class in the nation. Actually, I take it back, I agree with his decision when I take 'Ohio' being his home state out of the equation.
Frankly, I'm just glad it's done and over with. And after the board (the one in particular we all know I'm talking about) has its meltdown, maybe it can return to a more normal level of venemous insanity. Oh wait no, that can't happen when the site's own staff has one expert who takes shot at their other expert. Not a shot at the site, just at what has happened to it.
There's only one thing related to recruiting that will excite me between now and signing day, and that's signing day... We've already put together a terrific recruiting class, and on top of that we still have some terrific looking players on the hook. Not bad.

Congrats to Fred!
I would love to have the number one recruiting class every year, but that guarantees you nothing. Give me the Hawks, Claretts and Ginns of the world who commit early because they know from day one where they want to go.
Hey, after this implosion over on the other board how long will it be before they start panicking over a top recruit for next year?

Clarity, you're dreamin'!!! There was a time I might agree with you but one stop over there this morning and I'm convinced we will have trouble winning a game next year. Look out Indiana. Watch yourself Northwestern, your homes at the cellar of the Big Ten are not safe...here we come!!!

I have to be honest here fellas. I am glad in many ways that Davis has ended this thing and went to USC. He definately is a "me first" kind of guy who will find sledding a little tough next season when all the promises that Carroll make him do not come true. He is also in the mold of a Mike Dandrea type of recruit.........highly touted but unproven, most of hype is potential.
Best of luck to Fred, but I think that he will find things different once the season starts next fall.
