I stopped paying any attention to Dodd after that Stadium thingy he did last year... There was a great post on the Ozone - Tom Orr, I think - showing that even with modest numbers, there is no way Ohio Stadium could have failed to have made Dodd's list... I digress..
Don't worry about Dennis Dodd... |

He always trumpets the same tired lines every column he writes. If he ever had an original sentence anywhere, I might be able to respect him even though he hates OSU. However, he couldn't write an original sentence if you gave him all the words, and for that he's a moron.

I don't read dd's rag. I suppose he took a cheap potshot at the Buckeyes, I will assume it has something to do with LI.
Here's a tip. Instead of posting a link to his article, paraphrase what he's saying. By posting a link for people to follow it increases his hit count and puts money in his pocket. |

KentState, the link is CBS Sportsline, so Dodd will be getting a bajillion hits one way or the other. The best move is probably to write a well reasoned letter to the editors and let them know that Dodd must go. Of course that won't work either, but it might make you feel better. Now, if CBS had the contract rights to Big Ten football games, I'd bet Dodd would be singing a different tune instantly ... or working for someone else. ![]() |

Can they fill the place... too funny. Um, hey, Dennis.. all you got to do is look at OSU's home attendence numbers, divide by the number of games played and you'll see 100,000 or so.. Yeah, the place is filled, bro.

hahaha....can they fill the place. wouldnt a better question be, "can they keep the attendance UNDER the seating capacity?"
every OSU game i have been to has had a few hundred OVER the stated capacity. |

i read somewhere, and i can't remember exactly where at the moment, that either OSU, TTUN, or Tenn has lead the NCAA in attendence every year for the last 30 or something ridiculous like that.
You have to expect Dodd to pander to the SEC though. |

The only way guys like this make a living is to say controversial stuff, hate a popular team and have public feuds with their fans. Unfortunately a lot of these losers pick OSU. The worst part is that they will always get the last word because somehow they have worked themselves into the public eye and can alter perception to an extent. I can't stand this guy...He should join Trev Alberts, Mark May and Bob Greise in a huge orgy of college football personalities that can't separate personal bias from fact.

There are 5 stadiums that seat 100,000 plus...
3 of them are in the big ten (OSU, Mich, PSU) - all of which are filled every home saturday 1 of them is Tenny - Filled 1 of them is the Rose Bowl - UCLA home games.... well.. not so much Yes, big ten football sucks. People hate it. No fun. Weak assed stadiums too boot. What a friggin joke that was (The Dodd article). |
