Posted - September 03 2007 : 06:30:57 AM I was reading the Maize & Blog yesterday and there was an initial posting that stated Henne, Hart, and several unidentified players were seen partying at the PIKE fraternity house on the eve before the Appalachian State game. The posting was taken down, but an explanation for it originally being there was put in its place. Check the new posting out.

I am under the impression that the team stays at the University Inn the night before every home game. Is this a fact?

I find it hard to believe that players would be out partying the night before a game. As the game happened to turn out it would also be considered a contributing factor to the disaster if it were actually true.

WCBN is allegedly looking into the situation, but personally I think it is BS!

What has anyone else heard in regard to this "story"?

I have no problem with them publishing the story- as long as they publish the names of the eyewitnesses.

I did a double take while driving around town Friday night when I saw a car with a "LONG 77" plate. It wasn't Jake driving but the first thing I thought was what's he doing out the night before a game

Posted - September 03 2007 : 1:42:10 PM What are everyone's thoughts on immediately scheduling App State next year (at their place if they wish) just so we can get the 99 of 100 times we would win the game out of the way.

Also show we're affraid of meeting no team on the field.

Lastly, make us fans feel like we are capable of laying the 45 point pounding on them we were supposed to deliver this weekend. nwmustelid

The opponent is just tricking us by using the name "Oregon" and different colors. Any vengeful 45-point pounding should take place September 8. ChicaGoBlue

Show them (and everyone else) that Michigan is not "afraid" of the Mountaineers (as some of the App State players said yesterday). I would love nothing more than to see Michigan do to App. State what they did to Colorado after the disaster in 1994 -- 5 straight ass kickings.

even IF the first down knee only takes 3 or 4 seconds, the clock STAYS RUNNING. Are all Michigan fans this dumb? ChicaGoBlue blames the special teams for the "disaster" (translated to ass beating)???? What about the defense that game up 28 in 2 or 3 quarters?

Why is it that scUM special teams suck year after year and dumbass LLLLLoyd doesn't change anything. I remember "upset" wins by Oregon and Iowa in past years set up by punt blocks and punt returns and they still suck.

Also, why do voters continually vote scUM in teh top 10? Although it does make their eventual fall all the more hilarious...

I don't give [censored] about the reasons Jerry Moore said he kicked on first down...the only reason they won is because dip[censored] Shawn Crable doesn't know his blocking assignments. They didn't win that game because of the decision, but in spite of it. Had Crable done his job and Michigan makes the FG, Jerry Moore would trying to defend why he kicked a FG on first down with 30 seconds on the game clock.
