I am so unhappy with UM football right now I don't know if I will keep up my tickets after retirement. Bill Martin is quitting but should be fired. Richrod is an embarrassment and now I have to root for NCAA sanctions to allow us to fire him without paying the guy millions. We continue to set records for worst this and that. Unbelievable, Bo is turning over and I am not sure I even want to go to the OSU game.  My reply: I totally agree, you should be unhappy and not go to the Ohio State game. Can I have your tickets?

This failure led to a failure to monitor charge against the institution. What makes it potentially worse for Michigan is that, whereas Bomar's violation was an individual violation, the underlying alleged violation here is an institutional violation. Thus, whereas Bomar's violation plus Oklahoma's record-keeping failure led to a failure to monitor charge, Michigan's alleged institutional violation plus Michigan's record-keeping failure might warrant a more serios lack of institutional control charge. Of course, still a long way to go in the investigation, so we really don't have nearly enough facts to know what temperature the water is.
